The view from the choir loft at St. Peter Cathedral is magnificent, even more so when the pews of the mother church of the Erie Diocese are full—i.e. Midnight Mass, ordinations, Rite of Election, etc. And as a member of the cathedral choir, I feel blessed that I get to see it every Sunday. I’m a tiny voice in the tenor section, but together we make a big sound.
The scene from the high perch reminds me of my work with the diocese’s Office of Communications—I get to see everything unfold from a unique outlook. I’m hoping that VFTCL will offer a deeper look into the Church of Erie and the people and places of our 13-county landscape.
